실리카코팅제는 수성의 표면개질 콜로이달실리카 바인더이다. 1액형의 세라믹코팅제로서 250℃ 이상의 열에 의해 경화된다.

Silica coating agents are water-based, surface-modified colloidal silica binders. They are single-component ceramic coating agents that cures at temperatures above 250°C.

실리카코팅제는 안정성이 우수하고 투명도막을 형성한다. 그 도막은 하드하나 박막의 경우 어느 정도의 유연성을 갖는다.

Silica coating agents excellent stability and form transparent film. The film is hard, but they have some flexibility in very thin film.
